Symfony Developer (React / Next.js)

Hybrid | Leeds | Up to £50,000

We’re looking for a Symfony Developer to join a growing digital team building modern, scalable web applications. This role suits someone with strong back-end experience who is comfortable working across the stack in an agency environment.

You’ll focus on Symfony-based back-end development while contributing to React and Next.js front ends, working closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

What you’ll need:

  • Commercial experience as a Symfony Developer or Full Stack Developer

  • Strong PHP and Symfony experience

  • Working knowledge of React and Next.js would be useful but is not essential

  • Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript

  • A collaborative mindset and desire to keep learning

Nice to have:

  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs

  • Git and modern development workflows

  • Exposure to CI/CD, cloud platforms, or containerisation

  • Interest in clean code, performance, and accessibility
