Looking to apply your building skills in a role that genuinely makes a difference? We’re on the hunt for a hands-on, experienced General Builder to join a well-established team working across pollution response and property restoration.
This isn’t your standard construction role – you’ll be part of a team that restores homes and properties after environmental and pollution incidents, ensuring safe, high-quality reinstatement for affected residents.
General Builder Responsibilities:
- Leading small teams on-site, keeping projects running smoothly and to spec
- Applying a broad range of building skills – think brickwork, concreting, drainage, and underpinning
- Operating diggers, dumpers and using a variety of tools and machinery (all PPE and safety measures provided)
- Working with Project Managers to deliver each job to a high standard
- Travelling to different sites and occasionally staying away when needed
General Builder Requirements:
- A multi-skilled, experienced builder with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Someone who’s comfortable leading on-site activity and juggling multiple tasks
- A clean driving licence and experience operating mini diggers and dumpers (essential)
- Based within 10 miles of Stevenage or Luton
- Willing to travel and occasionally work away from home
