We set up Searchability in 2012 to be different, honing in on technical and design communities through social media to find the people that could help drive our clients businesses forward!
Martin is extremely passionate about what he does and he does it well. This has transcended across the Searchability model which is a fresh and exciting approach to recruitment and the challenges that companies face in terms of attracting top tech talent.
I first started working with Martin in 2004 when I was Head of Interactive at An Agency called England. Martin has always been a pleasure to work with, transparent and honest with his candidates and assessment of the market and salary levels.
I used him exclusively to build my PHP & Design teams and have continued to use him throughout my career as both a candidate and a client.
It has been refreshing to see Searchability grow and prosper as it targets the social media market as opposed to traditional job boards to capture and engage new recruits, the service they offer retains the core values that Martin has demonstrated to me throughout our association, whilst consistently seeking new and emerging ways to solve the tech skills shortage many of us face.
Searchability embraced digital long before their competitors and are reaping the rewards in terms of their candidate & client reach, which makes them my first and only choice when either looking for a new role or candidate. I worked with Steve whilst at MBA. I found him very approachable and pragmatic; he always took the time to understand the role we were hiring into and provide CVs which match what we need rather than bombarding me with as many CVs as possible. He was always responsive to questions and feedback, and never pushy.
Whilst at MBA I worked with Steve on filling a role for web designer; a role which had never existed in the company before and so was new for us all. Steve worked with us on the kind of people we may expect to get, and salary expectations, and found us great candidates quickly.
