Chester Tech MeetUp: How Technology is Reshaping Governance, Risk & Compliance
The Chester Tech Meetup is a quarterly in person event aimed to connect local tech professionals, provide useful insights and share interesting talks from a variety of tech professionals across the North West.

We are excited to partner with Hirecracker GRC to bring together tech and GRC professionals to explore How Technology is reshaping Governance, Risk and Compliance.

We’ve just confirmed an interactive session that’s going to be a bit different from your average talk.

Testing What You Can’t Control – by Adam Davis

This is a short, demo-led session where the audience becomes part of the test. Using your phones, we’ll turn the room into a live system and watch what happens as it runs in real time.

At first it looks like everything is working together, but small differences start to appear. Things don’t line up perfectly, and behaviour across devices isn’t always the same. It’s a simple way to see how real systems behave outside of perfect conditions, and what that means when it comes to testing them. Supported by a small number of slides, but centred around a live demo.

Chester Cloud & DevOps MeetUp
Searchability’s Chris Hopley launched this event in 2019 in collaboration with the recruitment team from Iceland Foods in an effort to bring a stronger tech presence to our HQ City of Chester.
