Job Summary:
We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Principal Software Engineer to lead our software development endeavours. This role is pivotal, overseeing both technical and leadership aspects as we embark on new projects and technologies.
As the Principal Software Engineer, you’ll guide the team through requirements capture, solution design, and development, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget. If you excel at full-stack development, problem-solving, and mentoring, we want you on board.
Principal Software Engineer Duties andamp; Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Software Team’s activities.
- Mentor and support team members.
- Supervise Front End and Back End software development.
- Collaborate with leadership on software-related aspects.
- Spearhead Research and Development projects.
- Ensure solutions leverage the latest technologies.
- Conduct product and solution quality assurance assessments.
- Provide regular reports to leadership.
- Utilize conflict resolution techniques.
- Acknowledge and appreciate team members’ contributions.
Principal Software Engineer Requirements (Essential):
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum eight years of coding experience (C++, C#, Python preferred).
- Minimum four years of supervisory or management experience.
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance.
- Ability to work both on-site and remotely.
