Electrical Technician
Location: Coryton – Stanford-le-Hope

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician seeking a dynamic role within a multi-skilled team? This exciting opportunity offers the chance to provide efficient site maintenance services while upholding high standards of safety and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose breakdowns, repair equipment, and implement preventative measures.
- Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and testing to the required standards.
- Maintain accurate records on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (PEMAC).
- Install new electrical equipment in line with current legislation and specifications.
- Develop and review electrical work instructions, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
- Modify plant and equipment in accordance with company requirements.
- Report hazards and equipment defects promptly.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Key Skills, Experience andamp; Knowledge:
- Proven experience in production maintenance environments, ideally on hazardous area/COMAH sites.
- COMPEX qualification (or willingness to achieve).
- Recognised apprenticeship qualification.
- IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification (or willingness to achieve).
- City andamp; Guilds Electrical Qualification.
- Knowledge of IEE regulations (17th/18th edition).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical legislation and electricity at work regulations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge (desirable).
- Familiarity with PLC systems (desirable).
