HGV Operative!
Are you already qualified to drive HGVs and looking to put your skills to use in a varied, hands-on role? We’re looking for an experienced HGV Operative to join our Tunbridge Wells depot. You’ll be operating specialist vehicles, supporting field teams, and carrying out essential work across remediation, clean-up, and environmental response.

HGV Operative Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate HGV vehicles (Class 2) for a range of environmental and remediation works.
- Load, transport and unload tools, materials and waste.
- Carry out tasks such as high-pressure water jetting, tank cleaning, and groundwork.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and report defects.
- Support site teams with emergency response work and industrial cleaning.
- Work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota.
HGV Operative Requirements:
- A valid HGV Class 2 licence (ADR is an advantage but not essential).
- Previous experience operating HGVs in a hands-on, operational role.
- Familiarity with RAMS, vehicle checks and Tacho use (training provided if needed).
- A flexible, team-focused attitude with a willingness to work overtime and travel when required.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
