NEW PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FOR A MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGNEER IN DEVON

  • Searchability NSandamp;D has a permanent opportunity for an Mechanical Design Engineer to work across an exciting range of projects
  • Salaries up to £38k + package

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Component and assembly design from concept to production in an automotive environment using CAD.
  • Produce designs to meet the agreed requirements to time and within hours specified
  • Maintain accurate design records and maintain drawing issue control.
  • Use the PDM system to store and issue drawings.
  • Revise or amend existing designs and drawings to meet new requirements.
  • Work with the Project Engineer and other team members to provide the best output.
  • Liaise with suppliers in order to source new components.
  • Assess prototype components for correct fit and function.
