What will you be doing?

This is a new role reporting into the Commercial Director. The main purpose of the role is to develop new business through identifying suitable business owners and leaders who will be a suitable addition to our Leadership Groups, encouraging them to come and experience a Group for themselves, and then to get them signed up as a member. Every interaction should be friendly, positive and enthusiastic in order to build rapport.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a customer database of current and past contacts, and potential contacts, and keeping this up to date
  • Identifying, building and nurturing your own pipeline of business owners and leaders as prospective members
  • Following up by telephone all contacts who have received written communications from us, or who have expressed an interest in membership
  • Writing clear, engaging and accurate follow up emails to prospects
  • Collaborating with the other members of the team to ensure a seamless customer journey for prospects from initial contact to onboarding
  • Developing your own ideas and suggestions as to how we can increase engagement with the wider industry
  • Providing a professional, effective and friendly sales function for the group, ensuring that all contacts have a positive impression of the companies
  • Meeting weekly with the Commercial Director to review figures, targets and achievements
  • Managing the Marketing spend in line with the budget.
