WHAT WILL THE DATA SCIENCE LEAD BE DOING?
A successful candidate will be technically leading teams with mixed abilities including machine learning, cloud, data engineering, DevOps, and Software Engineering. In the role you’ll lead engagements with end customers, contribute and prepare technical bids and proposals, and work with Delivery Management. You’ll also utilise your practical data science skills in hands on development, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be working on a range of diverse and technically challenging projects at the forefront of the sector.
THE DATA SCIENCE LEAD SHOULD HAVE….
Experience in any of the following:
- Building and designing scalable data platforms
- Visualisation of complex data and techniques for data extraction
- Machine learning
- Programming languages – such as Python, Java, or C++
- DevOps techniques and Cloud technologies
- Agile methodology and team leadership
- Stakeholder and customer engagement
