They are looking for a determined and motivated Delivery Lead to manage project delivery and agile processes across their expanding portfolio.
The Delivery Lead role:
The Delivery Lead will drive agile delivery practices across multiple projects, ensuring smooth progression, managing risks, and enhancing predictability. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to align expectations on scope and timelines, while continuously improving the team’s delivery efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of projects using agile methodologies, ensuring clarity of scope and tracking progress against planned timelines.
- Manage external dependencies, working with partners and suppliers to mitigate potential impacts on project timelines.
- Set clear expectations with stakeholders regarding delivery scope, schedules, and expected returns on investment.
- Continually assess and adjust team velocity and delivery metrics to enhance predictability and performance.
- Drive the creation of appropriately sized backlogs and initial velocity estimates, calibrating project timelines and managing adjustments.
- Ensure the elaboration of epics and features to allow accurate estimation and delivery planning.
- Implement and monitor key delivery metrics, ensuring that progress is transparent and clearly communicated across teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular review and adaptation of delivery processes to optimise performance and efficiency.
