Deskside and Technology Support Analyst

  • Contract

  • £250 - £255 per day GBP / Year

Searchability

  • Must hold Active SC Clearance to start
  • Up to £255 p/day – inside IR35
  • 6-month contract
  • Bristol location – full time on site
  • One-stage virtual interview – high-priority role – ASAP start
  • Essential experience in 2nd line support, IT Hardware, reviewing tickets

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolve and manage 2nd line incidents and requests, ensuring SLA compliance and user communication.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and telephony issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Deploy and track IT assets, manage stock rooms, and handle equipment recycling per policy.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure, including equipment rooms and conference facilities, and support new site setups.
  • Act as an escalation point, support team members, and provide cover for the Team Lead as needed.
  • Monitor service performance, review SLA breaches, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

We need the Deskside andamp; Technology Support Analyst to have:

  • Active SC Clearance to start
  • Willing to be full time on-site in Bristol

Key skills required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT Service Management within a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements with strong customer service focus.
  • Solid technical knowledge of IS services and ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Proficient in data analysis with working knowledge of Excel/database structures and reporting.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel between company offices.
