First Line Support Engineer – Contract

  • Chance for 2 engineers to work in a dynamic environment for a client who take pride in the level of service they deliver to the public and internally.
  • You will initially be onsite initially in York, then hybrid after the first few weeks.
  • 3 Months Initially (extension or permanent likely) Inside of IR35, £120 – £140 p/d, IT Support – Windows OS, o365, Active Directory

Who are we?

As a well established household name in the housing industry, our client put technology at the forefront of what they do and as a result when we have plans to grow, our need to support out onsite users increases also. With a rapid expansion we have decided to grow this team quickly and in the long term, permanently. This starts by adding 2 first line support engineers to our team.

What will you be doing?

Once you get up to speed with the inhouse service delivery system, it will be jumping in the deep end and being the first port of call for users with IT related issues. You will use your skills in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, office 365 and other hardware and software issues. As a part of the team as a greater entity and there will be a chance to extend or go permanent should you prefer that at the end.

What do you need?

  • Experience within an IT Support environment
  • 1st Line support experience
  • Superb communication and problem solving skills.
  • Windows operating systems (10/11)
  • O365
