Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ Level 3/City andamp; Guilds in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
- F-GAS certification (City andamp; Guilds 2079-11).
- Expertise in ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
- Experience with diverse HVAC systems, including chiller plants and packaged units.
- Ability to enforce UK environmental and health standards effectively.
Desirable:
- Experience in remote or challenging environments.
- Certificates in Confined Spaces, Compressed Gases, or Pressure Vessels.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
- UK driver’s licence.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance per SFG20 guidelines.
- Oversee HVAC repairs and stock assessments.
- Conduct toolbox talks and pre-shift briefings.
- Manage documentation for HVAC tasks, ensuring proper control and updates.
