The Project Manager Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll take charge of managing small, medium, and large-scale projects from initiation to closure. This will involve:
- Collaborating with Account Managers and Programme Managers to define scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintaining project plans and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Overseeing daily delivery to ensure projects stay on track, on budget, and within scope.
- Communicating with clients and managing risks, issues, and change requests.
- Preparing regular project status updates and ensuring adherence to internal processes.
You’ll work on diverse projects including client implementations, business change initiatives, and product development, ensuring seamless execution and high standards throughout.
Project Manager Essential Skills
- Proven experience managing client-facing projects end-to-end.
- Expertise in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Waterfall and Agile methodology
- Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Resilience under pressure with a high level of attention to detail.
- PRINCE2 qualification or similar is desirable, but not essential.
