About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated Service Desk Analyst to be the first point of contact for IT service users, helping to resolve technical issues, answer queries, and process service requests. This role is ideal for someone passionate about IT support who enjoys troubleshooting, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth access to IT systems and services across the university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support andamp; Guidance: Receive and handle support requests, providing guidance on available systems, products, and services.
  • Issue Management: Log and track incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues to experienced colleagues as needed.
  • User Assistance: Help users make the most of their IT systems and provide solutions for common issues where possible.
  • Process Adherence: Follow standard procedures to document issues, ensure accuracy in diagnostic information, and facilitate effective issue resolution.
  • Team Collaboration: Share knowledge and work collaboratively to support team functionality and prevent single points of failure.

  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and desktop software support.
