Key Responsibilities

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media strategies for various clients. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing the online presence across various social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency, engagement, and growth.

Social Media Strategy:

  • staying on top of latest platform updates, industry trends and competitor activities to help structure each client approach.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Creating compelling and engaging content for flagship clients, across various social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with client objectives and contribute to overall marketing efforts.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to clients.
  • Optimize ad performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Community Management:

  • Foster and engage with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Daily moderating of social channels, responding to posts and direct messages and escalating customer service queries to clients.
  • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and sentiment analysis.

Reporting:

  • Using social media analytics, build reports that summarise performance of channels/campaigns based on KPI’s, with added value insights to improve results and further engage with target audiences.

Experience/Skills

  • Proven experience as a social media manager in a similar role for 3+ years.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and experience managing projects.
  • Experience with social media listening tools or similar.
