The Chester Tech Meet Up is a quarterly in person event aimed to connect local tech professionals, provide useful insights and share interesting talks from a variety of tech professionals across the North West.
This event we are diving into all things digital, with three Digital extraordinaries:
Liam Quirk – Managing Director @ Quirky Digital, sharing insights on “Creative ways to build links and establish trust with the Search Engines”
Ollie Chissell – Product Marketing Director @ Protein Works discussing all things Digital
Luke Ward – Owner of Ward Media Digital presenting “My journey into freelancing”
There’ll be time to network in between talks, and Searchability will of course put on plenty of good food and make sure our (complimentary) bar is well stocked for all attendees!

Searchability’s Chris Hopley launched this event in 2019 in collaboration with the recruitment team from Iceland Foods in an effort to bring a stronger tech presence to our HQ City of Chester. The first event was a roaring success with full attendance, plenty of food and drinks and some really inspiring talks from Stuart Bickley (Head of Application Development at Iceland Foods), Patrick Gawley (Integration Architect at Iceland Foods) as well as Garry Meaburn (Lead Cloud Architect at Barclays). Ministry of Test Manchester
Searchability’s Gabbi Trotter sits on the board for Ministry of Test Manchester, co-organising events with the MOT team and sponsoring on behalf of Searchability too. If you are based in Manchester and work within the software testing sector then these events are not to be missed!
Searchability have sponsored the LeedsPHP Meetup since August 2018, providing financial assistance to allow the organisers to provide food and drink to attendees whilst they listen to industry leading speakers discussing PHP related topics.
