On Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th June the UKs largest graduate job fair is to be held in Manchester. The venue for this event is the University of Manchester at the Armitage Centre, Fallowfield M14 6HE.
The venue is open 10.30 to 16.00 on both days. This venue is designed for degree students who are looking for a new job, looking to change jobs or just to assess the jobs market.
There will be hundreds of graduate jobs on offer plus opportunities for further study including some University postgraduate places including PGCE’s and Law courses. Most jobs offered are full time, although there will be some temporary and voluntary jobs also on offer. Over the two days approximately 160 exhibitors (both local and national) will be on site (different ones daily) and this event is open to all graduates and postgraduates from all Universities. The exhibitors represent a wide range of sectors and should be of interest to students with degrees in all disciplines. The exhibitor lists will be visible from 6th May 2014. There will be careers advisors on site plus a daily Talks program.
There will be free transport to the fair leaving from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station, starting at 0930 each day and running every 30 minutes.
Entry is free and includes a free guide to the fair. You need to register in advance and take your ticket with you, and each day you attend will require a separate application.
There is parking at the centre plus disability access.
