Finding your passion can be a laborious and pretty introvert activity, but making it fun is what this article is all about. Here are a couple of things you can do to find your passion and live up to your full potential.
One of the best ways to discover your passion is to ask yourself some deep questions such as:
– What do my friends and co-workers say that I’m good at doing?
– If I had to choose one of my friends or acquaintances to switch jobs with, what job would I choose?
– What do I love the most about the job that I currently have?
– If I could go back in time and attend University again, what would I major in?
– What are the things that I love about the job I’m doing right now?
… and perhaps the most profound question of all:
When I am dead, imagining I could watch my own funeral, what do I want people saying about my life’s work?
These are all great questions you can ask yourself when determining what your true purpose is. Once you have answered these questions about yourself now you are ready to move on to analyzing your answers.
Try and identify a pattern or trend such as wanting performing a musical instrument or loving being a leader when your boss puts you in charge. Once you do that you should have a pretty good idea of where your interests lie. You can now take these interests and try and fit them into a job. Try and see what careers will enable you to carry out these practices.
Remember, no matter how far along you are in life, it really is never too late to find your true passion.
